Sumaya 0.0.7 Patch Notes

Gamepass Fix, Citizen level HUD, in-game Menu button, Cancel-able respawn timer, anti-arrest-cheese protections, and a sweep of polish & bug fixes.

These patch notes combine 0.0.6 and 0.0.7

Vehicle Team Lock: To improve roleplay consistency, vehicles for POLIS, BOMBA, and Kesihatan are now team-locked.
You can no longer drive vehicles belonging to teams other than your own.

Gamepass Fix: Resolved an issue where gamepass vehicles were not appearing for eligible players.
UI Scaling: Fixed scaling issues for the Mamak and FastFood interfaces to ensure they display correctly across different screen sizes.

Persistent Status HUD: A new HUD in the top-right now tracks your Citizen Level and XP at all times. It includes a dedicated second row for your active career (Emergency Service rank or Civilian sector level).
- Tip: Use the new "Status" topbar icon to toggle this view.
The In-Game Menu: No more resetting just to change settings! Tap the new Home glyph to open the main menu. You can now switch careers, check the leaderboard, or browse updates while keeping your vehicle and inventory.
Smart HUD Hiding: The Status HUD and topbar icons now automatically hide when you open full-screen menus (ATM, Shop, Real Estate, etc.) to prevent UI overlap and "bleeding."
Respawn Overhaul: The Reset button now triggers a 12-second countdown with a Cancel option. Say goodbye to accidental deaths!

We’ve implemented strict measures to prevent players from avoiding the consequences of their actions:

Engaged Status: A new "ENGAGED" banner appears when a Polis officer tases or detains you. This banner shows a countdown indicating exactly when your Reset/Menu functions are blocked.
No Escape:
- Resetting is blocked the moment police engage you.
- If you attempt to leave the game or die while "Engaged," you will be sent to jail for double the normal sentence (up to 600s for 5 stars).
- Team switching and returning to the menu are disabled during active police engagement.
Officer Rewards: Arresting officers (and nearby backup) now consistently receive XP and SR credit for auto-arrests if a suspect logs out or resets.

ELS Discovery: Driving your first ELS-capable vehicle will now flash the mobile ELS row, making it easier for new players to find light and siren toggles.
Topbar Clearance: We’ve repositioned several elements that were previously hidden behind the topbar:
- House Placement controls (Place / Customize / Settings).
- Boat Helm controls (Steering and Knot display).
- Real Estate headers and Quest notifications.

Polis Whistle: Replaced the broken audio asset; the whistle is now audible to everyone nearby (SUM-204).
Menu Loading: Fixed a bug where only three menu buttons would load; all six (Play, Teams, Career, Shop, Updates, Credits) are now available.
Visual Polish: The "Respawning" dim backdrop now correctly covers the entire screen, including the topbar and edges.
UI Cleanup: Fixed overlapping icons where topbar buttons would sit on top of the Sumaya logo during menu navigation.
